NHOA Energy is recruiting a Project Engineer to join NHOA Energy’s Engineering department and contribute to the delivery of Battery Energy Storage System projects worldwide. The Project Manager is responsible for managing engineering and design activities for the delivery of turnkey Battery Energy Storage Systems and acts as the primary technical point of contact for project partners’ technical teams, NHOA project team, and other project stakeholders. Tasks and Duties General ResponsibilitiesOverall management of engineering and design activities for the BESS project delivery Mobilize and coordinate resources from NHOA’s Design Engineering team to support the preparation of the technical deliverables required as per the engineering plan of the project Monitor project progress in compliance with customer requirements and applicable standards Manage positive relationships with project partners’ technical teams, NHOA project team, and other project stakeholders (Suppliers, Consultants, etc.) Strong engagement with NHOA Project Engineering based on the key geographies (US, Australia, Taiwan), ensuring alignment on activities, processes, technical approach, and other head office requirementsProject Responsibilities (SOW)Management and coordination of engineering activities Management and submission of all engineering related contract deliverables Ensure fit-for-purpose procurement of all project battery storage equipment Prepare FAT procedures and attend to FAT in Suppliers/NHOA premises Support Project Engineer and project partner(s) in all relevant commissioning activities Participate to hot commissioning activities and SAT on-site Delivery training requirements for BESS Ensure all warranties and guarantees are appropriate and achievedProject Responsibilities (Management)Management of all engineering and design deliverables Management of engineering schedule, ensuring project schedule accurately reflects engineering activities Manage all internal and external reporting requirements for engineering and design activitiesRequirements Ideal CandidateMaster’s degree in electrical engineering or similar At least 3 years’ experience in design and/or commissioning of power plants / substations Experience in on-field activities on MW-sized power plants Fluent knowledge of the English languageNice to have:Experience in turn-key delivery of BESS Knowledge of a second language (Chinese, Spanish or French)Location HQ in Milan, Italy.
