Overview As a Storekeeper Supervisor at Hotel Cipriani, A Belmond Hotel, you are an essential member of our distinguished purchasing team. You will embody the legendary standards and attention to detail ensuring every department receives the impeccable support and high‑quality supplies.Responsibilities Team leadership: overseeing and guiding the team at the hotel, ensuring efficient daily operations and adherence to procedures.Inventory Management: implementing and maintaining precise inventory control systems, conducting regular stocktakes, and minimizing discrepancies and waste across all departments.Receiving & Quality Control: supervising the accurate receipt, inspection, and verification of all incoming goods against purchase orders.Optimized storage solutions: developing and maintaining organized, clean, and efficient storage areas, optimizing space utilization and ensuring easy access to all supplies.Distribution & logistics: managing the efficient distribution of goods to various hotel departments, ensuring timely delivery and fulfillment of internal requisitions.Supplier coordination: liaising with suppliers regarding deliveries, discrepancies, and quality issues, maintaining strong working relationships.HACCP & safety compliance: ensuring strict adherence to HACCP regulations (for F&B items) and all health, safety, and hygiene standards within the stores and receiving areas.Process improvement: continuously reviewing and improving stores processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and operational flow.Reporting & documentation: preparing regular inventory reports, managing stock rotation, and maintaining meticulous documentation for all store‑related activities.Inter‑Departmental Collaboration: cultivating strong, proactive partnerships with all operational departments to anticipate and efficiently fulfil their supply requirements.Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory storekeeping, inventory control, or logistics role.Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, mentor, and motivate a team.Exceptional organizational skills and an unwavering focus on accuracy and quality in supply operations.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with all hotel departments and external suppliers.Proactive, analytical, and efficient problem‑solver capable of managing priorities and unforeseen challenges in a dynamic environment.Legal eligibility to work in Italy at the moment of application.Benefits Seasonal contract with the chance to come back the following seasons.Accommodation in our staff house with staff canteen, laundry and gym.Uniform.Welfare programme.Rich training programme.Staff activities.Access to all the benefits of being part of Belmond, such as the Discovering Belmond policy, granting complimentary accommodation in other properties.#J-18808-Ljbffr
