We seek that rare combination of a solid coding background, a proven track record of applying technologies at scale, and a willingness to challenge the status quo and raise the bar on every service and feature we build.Key job responsibilitiesDeliver Results and Bias for action matter. Own, build, develop and lead the technical components of a business critical initiative to design, develop, launch and maintain advertising solution(s) and service(s) that enables advertisers with simplified AI-powered advertising offerings.We are looking for a someone excited about this technical strategy of engineering and science teams by working closely with a Principal Engineer and Scientists.You will also help mentor SDEs.Basic Qualifications 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering teamPreferred Qualifications 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
