Job OverviewQuality Engineer – Bridgestone EMEALocation: Roma, ITType of work: On siteType of contract: Open-ended/permanentFull/Part Time: Full timePosition SnapshotJob Req ID: 54103About The RoleTo support quality‑related activities assigned with the scope of new technologies introduction and continuous improvement applied in the manufacturing and logistic area with special focus on quality assurance processes applied in the manufacturing and product evaluation. The person should be able to develop and carry out autonomously assigned activities with supervision from the coordinator.ResponsibilitiesDigital Quality Assurance roadmap implementation (Quality 4.0)Support the quality assurance processes applied in the manufacturing, productRespect plan realization for projects as QA engineerSupport the injection of digital QA capabilities in Roma PlantManufacturing QA support to new process and new product designPartner with cross‑functional teams to evaluate design and processes at the early product design phasePerform Risk Process Quality assessment by PFMEA analysis on existing and new technologies and ensure robust linkage with upstream Risk Analysis (DFMEA / DRBFM) with special focus on Q Characteristics, ensuring cost‑effective preventive and detection methods in the processDevelop and implement cutting edge quality inspection tools to evaluate functional, dimensional and cosmetic part characteristicsSupport and collect data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process and part specificationsProblem solving based on data analysis; provide guidance to determine root cause and recommend potential solutionsInterface with internal and external groups to ensure that proper definition of quality expectations and that appropriate assurance techniques are used for the productRisk reduction, Quality Assurance and Continuous ImprovementPerform root cause analysis of quality issues, often using advanced problem‑solving tools (like Lean Six Sigma, Design of Experiments, etc.)Follow up simple cost‑effective permanent corrective actions.
