Our purpose is to accelerate the Group's innovation and digitization strategy through the Cloud and shared platforms. Based in Italy it has 5 branches across Europe and employs about 1.000 people.The candidate will be part of the team Program NEXT.The IT Application Lead is responsible for providing support for new implementations and ongoing maintenance for application assets, interacting both technical and functional teams to ensure tasks are being delivered as planned, acting as a key contributor for go-live and ongoing support and assist in the planning for strategic initiatives and global operations. The IT Application Lead works with business to understand the functional processes and translate that understanding into business and technical requirements, assessing solution options, formulating plans and working with the business on application changes.Monitor and ensure the achievement of the core solution milestones, set the guidelines on resources and budget management, steer interaction with local stakeholders, escape key decisions and main risks to governance bodiesAssure the compliance with the internal applicable policiesMaintain, Monitor and Support all systems and applicationsServe as IT solution consultant to business stakeholders and take the lead in mapping relevant technologies and IT services to support business plan executionEnsure that solution implementation Program projects are planned and executed in line with business strategy and established global IT standards and best practicesVendor governance of Cloud Infrastructure activitiesHard Skills:Knowledge of IFRS principles (IFRS17 and IFRS9) and Background Actuarial Non-LifeKnowledge of Software Lifecycle, Lean Project Management, Agile and Waterfall, ITILKnowledge of SQL database language, programming languages and relational databasesEnglish Professional level, other languages advantage (Italian, German, French)Knowledge of Cloud to control and direct the cloud services and resources from CSP and the processes and systems for doing soSoft Skills:Analytical, synthetical and presentational skillsSuccessful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilities are requiredExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAble to manage autonomously the relationship with all the stakeholders, internal and externalAble to manage sudden and frequent changes in the activities and prioritiesStrong goal driven mindset, initiative, autonomy and proactivityAbility to lead and to create trust and team spiritGenerali Operations Service Platform S.r.l.#J-18808-Ljbffr
