In this central role, you will enable secure and successful digital transformation across Sustainability, Growth Enablement, and R&I You will collaborate closely with both business and technical teams to assess needs, establish effective security practices, and promote team behaviors that drive delivery excellence Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance and process alignment, as well as supporting, coaching, and empowering teams to deliver secure and innovative solutions across these critical domains We count on you to:CISO Office RepresentationServe as the CISO Office’s representative within the assigned IT domain, ensuring alignment with Syensqo’s security strategy and objectives Active Partnership & CoachingCollaborate with teams to provide hands-on support, constructive challenge, and practical coaching Help teams overcome obstacles, especially during high-pressure or complex situations, and guide them to successful outcomes Delivery EnablementFacilitate progress by identifying and removing barriers, enabling teams to embed security into their projects from the outset Ensure cybersecurity is an enabler for innovation and growth, not a constraint Fostering Team BehaviorsPromote a culture of shared responsibility for cybersecurity Encourage open communication, continuous learning, and the adoption of best practices that support both operational excellence and robust security Management Team Participation & Stakeholder EngagementServe as a key member of the management team, contributing to strategic decisions and helping navigate complex or sensitive cybersecurity topics Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor and effective communicator Solution-Oriented ApproachWhen challenges arise, actively seek alternatives and facilitate progress, rather than simply enforcing boundaries Encourage creative problem-solving and help teams find secure, practical paths forward Compliance & Process AlignmentEnsure all activities adhere to relevant internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements Integrate compliance and process alignment into broader delivery and innovation activities, maintaining a holistic approach to security Continuous Assessment & ImprovementRegularly assess current security practices, identify opportunities for enhancement, and drive the adoption of improved processes and technologies Support teams in implementing changes that strengthen both security and operational performance You will bring:Education and experienceBachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in Information Security, IT operations or related roles Strong knowledge of security frameworks and regulations (e.g. SOX, ISO 27001, NIST) Experience with risk management, vulnerability management and compliance assessments Ability to lead cross-functional security initiatives and drive results Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus Skills and behavioral competenciesAnalytical thinking and problem solving Strong coaching, facilitation and stakeholder management skills Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, build trust and influence across teams and management levels Solution-oriented mindset with a track record of enabling delivery and overcoming obstacles Deep understanding of security best practices, compliance requirements and risk management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Language skillsFluent English French is a plus You will get:Competitive salary and benefits package 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations Training platform for all employees Free well-being sessions (physical and psychological) Additional information:Hybrid working model About UsSyensqo is a science company developing groundbreaking solutions that enhance the way we live, work, travel and play.
