SAP Manufacturing Project Manager – Italy (Legacy to SAP Conversion)We are seeking an experienced SAP Manufacturing Project Manager to lead a legacy system to corporate SAP standard conversion at a manufacturing site in Italy. This role is accountable for hands on delivery across planning, data migration, cutover, and go live stabilization.This is not a PMO, advisory, or strategy position. This role owns execution on the ground and is directly responsible for plant readiness, production continuity, and successful go live.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end to end SAP conversion from a legacy ERP system to the corporate SAP S 4 HANA standardOwn the integrated project plan across manufacturing, supply chain, and finance workstreamsManage SAP data migration activities including planning, execution, validation, and reconciliationPlan and execute SAP cutover and go live activities with minimal disruption to productionCoordinate closely with plant leadership, operations, IT teams, and external partnersIdentify and manage risks related to downtime, business continuity, and data accuracyDrive user readiness, testing coordination, and hypercare support following go liveProvide clear status reporting and timely escalation to global IT leadershipRequired Experience10 or more years of IT project management experience7 or more years leading SAP implementations or conversions in manufacturing environmentsProven experience migrating from a legacy ERP system to SAPDirect ownership of SAP cutover and go live activitiesStrong understanding of SAP manufacturing processesHands on exposure to SAP PP and MM with finance integration awarenessExperience working in industrial or automotive manufacturing environmentsFluent English requiredItaly based candidates strongly preferredRequired SkillsSAP S 4 HANAManufacturing SAPData MigrationSAP CutoverSAP Project ManagementPreferred QualificationsExperience with global SAP template rolloutsExperience supporting multinational or US headquartered organizationsFamiliarity with SAP security and user authorizationsStrong communication skills with both plant level and corporate stakeholdersWhy This RoleHigh visibility SAP conversion at a manufacturing siteLong term engagement with strong extension potentialOpportunity to become a core delivery resource on a global SAP programHands on ownership of a critical plant go liveNorth Point Technology is THE BEST place to work for curious-minded engineers motivated to support our country’s most crucial missions We focus on long term projects, leveraging the latest technology in support of innovative solutions to solve our customer’s most difficult problems.At North Point Technology, EMPLOYEES come first We value our employees by providing excellent compensation, benefits, and a flexible work-life balance.
