Head of Global Sales Join Maritime Optima – a private company founded in 2019 that delivers maritime intelligence solutions. Our team has 19 full‑time and 2 part‑time staff in Oslo, Singapore, Athens, and London. We build and distribute two SaaS products, ShipIntel (for maritime businesses) and ShipAtlas (for ship tracking), and are seeking an experienced sales leader to grow our global sales and customer success organization. About Maritime Optima Maritime Optima AS was founded in May 2019 and has been funded by serial tech entrepreneurs and shipping executives. Awarded the Copernicus Prize and selected for the Microsoft Startup Program in 2019–2021, we joined the Microsoft ISV Success Program in 2023. Headquarters are in Vika Atrium, Oslo. Products ShipIntel – flexible, affordable team software for maritime companies, available on web, mobile, and integrated with Microsoft Office365. ShipIntel Essentials – launched August 2024 for all types of maritime business. Learn more at ShipIntel Pre‑fix – launched August 2025 for shipbrokers, commercial owners, and cargo owners. Learn more at ShipAtlas – application for ship tracking, available on AppStore, Google Play, and web. Over 500,000 users. Your responsibilities Drive sales of ShipIntel to the maritime industry. Lead and manage the global sales team. Develop and execute strategic sales plans and budgets. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Desired qualifications Experience selling office software and B2B SaaS products. Strong negotiation skills with decision‑makers in corporate markets. Proven success in maritime or shipping sales. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Ambitious and results‑driven. Professional proficiency in English. Basic IT and software understanding. Personality traits Highly motivated and self‑driven. Strong problem‑solving skills. Adaptable and open to new challenges. Team player with a collaborative mindset. Excellent interpersonal skills.
