AGCO is a part of the solution Join us to make your contribution.Your Impact Creating the requirements for new and current products to permit the design and validation of the electrical hardware and control software of the combine harvester.Providing embedded software solutions (C/C++ or model-based) to ensure superior performance, durability, reliability and quality.Creating System Detailed Design Specifications and Interface Control Specifications for functional systems.Conducting requirements specification design reviews, risk analysis, and system DFMEAs. Coordinating safety reviews (Systems) in accordance with ISO25119.Defining and validating the integration of internal and external supplier components into harvesting equipment.Specifying required sensors and/or developing sensors with internal and external suppliers, interfacing with electrical and mechanical design teams to define required interfaces and requirements.Developing and maintaining machine control software and GUI applications based on C/C++ and model-based code. Assisting testers, engineers or other departments (e.g., production) with problem analysis and resolutions.Your Experience and Qualifications Knowledgeable about machinery, automotive, aviation, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems. Experience with defining software and hardware interfaces.Knowledge of CAN Bus communication for agricultural machinery (e.g., ISO11789, SAE J1939).Knowledge of safety standards for machinery (e.g., ISO12100, ISO25119). Experience using a software version control tool (e.g., SVN, GitHub). Experience using an Application Lifecycle Management tool (e.g., Polarion). Experience in a structured development environment. Experience with Vector CANoe or CANalyzer.Experience with developing real-time embedded machine control software using C and C++. Experience with Object Oriented software development.A bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical / Electronics, Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering.2-year experience in development or validation of off road or agricultural equipment, automotive and aircraft.The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of combine harvesting equipment including the setup, operation and data analysis capabilities.Benefits Attractive, fair remuneration including participation in our bonus scheme.Balance of work, family and free time due to flexible working time and the possibility of remote work.Private health insurance with partial coverage of some medical expenses.Canteen with meal allowance.
