This is a high-impact role requiring a strong operational focus and the ability to translate complex manufacturing and supply chain data into actionable financial insights for global leadership. Location: Milano, Italy Company Size: Global Multinational Nature of the Role: New position for growth YOUR NEW JOB As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for global financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis, partnering closely with operations and supply chain to drive cost visibility and margin optimization. You will report directly to the Group CFO . Leading consolidated budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across multiple manufacturing plants and regions. Analyzing plant-level performance, including absorption, labor efficiency, material usage, and capacity utilization. Partnering with operations to improve standard costing, inventory management, and working capital. Performing variance analysis for price, volume, mix, labor, and overhead drivers. Supporting product profitability analysis, cost-reduction initiatives, and make-vs-buy decisions. Developing financial models for capital expenditures (CAPEX), tooling, and footprint optimization. Preparing executive and board-level performance reporting with clear KPIs and dashboards. Driving the continuous improvement of FP&A processes, data integrity, and reporting systems. HARD & SOFT SKILLS Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Industrial Engineering; MBA or CMA/CPA/CFA is highly preferred. 6–10+ years of experience in FP&A or finance roles within manufacturing or industrial sectors . Strong mastery of manufacturing cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis. Experience supporting multi-plant, multi-country operations. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency in ERPs (SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau). Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and the ability to operate in matrixed, global environments.
