Solution Engineer, ItalyJoin the opportunity at Milestone Systems .Location: Center and South Italy (remote with occasional travel to Milan and Milestone HQ in Denmark and other countries).OverviewYou will build technical understanding and credibility during the sales process, positioning our product across Center and South Italy. You will work closely with the Milestone sales team, distributors, key accounts, and end users across industries, educating and building up Milestone knowledge into the channel. You will support and conduct technical seminars, roadshows, exhibitions, and provide hands‑on assistance at events.ResponsibilitiesPerform demonstration sessions of our solutions to partners and customers to win business.Examine tenders and prepare the technical part of the response.Respond to RFIs and RFPs.Be proactive managing your activities together with the local Channel Business Manager and Inside Channel Manager.Contribute to continuous product training of salespeople, partners, and distributors.Provide hands‑on technical assistance for preparation and setting up of exhibitions, events, customer meetings, proof of concepts, etc.QualificationsMinimum 5 years’ experience in an IT engineering role, having worked with a 2‑tier channel (distributors and integrators).Full professional competence in spoken and written Italian and English.Technical engineering qualification or diploma is a plus.Knowledge of Milestone is an advantage.Ability to convey technical knowledge to technical and non‑technical audiences.Enjoys working with software, hardware, and the latest technologies.Solid hands‑on experience in software & hardware integration.Preferably background within the Video Surveillance Industry.In‑depth technical knowledge of IT – network, storage, and Windows platform.Strong communication skills, ability to build trust and convey messages compellingly.Strong team player and independently driven.Curious, inquisitive, and eager to stay updated in the latest technologies within the Video Management Software (VMS) industry.Application and ContactYou will experience an inclusive and unbiased recruitment process where all employment decisions are based on qualifications rather than race, color, ethnicity, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, and religion.
