Amazon Transportation Risk & Compliance (TRC) provides a framework for Amazon’s last mile (LM) transportation programs to identify and manage risk in a rapidly growing and complex, global environment. To support the business, our primary mission is to perform independent and objective assessment of risks and testing of the controls embedded in Amazon business partners’ processes with the goal of optimizing the achievement of strategic objectives by minimizing negative surprises. We further provide Audit & Monitoring (A&M) support of high-risk transportation risk topics to drive compliance across our LM programs and influence business controls.We are looking for an experienced Senior Risk Manager to join our Japan TRC LM Audit & Monitoring (A&M) team, who can apply their knowledge of risk management and internal controls to a diverse set of transportation risk areas including compliance, process, technology, legal, finance, and program management. The successful candidate will propose innovative approaches and risk mitigation strategies throughout the business life cycle.
