The position is temporary and the preferred location is in Genova, Italy.
What you will be doing
Parts Coordination Management is part of Wärtsilä Global Logistics Services. Our main objectives are to provide fast and high-quality responses to our customers for spare part quotations, orders, deliveries and claim resolutions.
We are looking for a team player with strong interpersonal skills, good analytical thinking and adaptable to join our Parts Coordination team in Genova, Italy to support our customers in Marine sector.
As Coordinator, Parts Coordination Management, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Handle and coordinate quotes and orders according to working procedures and guidelines, and local requirements.
- Act as a link between customer and the various departments involved in the spare parts delivery process.
- Ensure highest level of quality and response time for quotes and orders.
- Ensure quality of spare parts sales documents.
- Ensure correct customer master data and handling instructions are used when processing quotations and orders.
- Actively follow up quotes with customers before they expire providing feedback to sales teams.
- Actively follow-up the order book.
- Maintain strong relationships with the customers, understand their needs and provide the right solutions.
- Follow up and communicate parts deliveries information accordingly in a timely manner to customers.
- Follow up with supply chain of parts deliveries according to agreed process.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (technical or commercial);
- Fluency in English;
- SAP knowledge and Supply Chain understanding will be considered as a plus, but it is not a prerequisite.
In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 10%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
The annual salary range for Italy for this role is 30.000 EUR – 40.000 EUR in accordance with the salary provisions in the National Collective Labor Agreement for workers in the metalworking and plant installation industry (CCNL Metalmeccanico).At Wärtsilä, we are committed to fair and transparent pay. This range reflects the expected compensation for the role, based on market data and our job architecture. The final salary offered will depend on factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the required competencies, and your relevant education, skills, and experience. We also take internal equity into
