Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Manufacturing and Services for the Electronics and Technology IndustryReisel Group is an international engineering consulting company, part of a French holding, with a presence in Italy, France and Belgium and a team of over 300 professionals.We support our clients by providing engineering and consulting services across multiple industrial sectors, including Energy, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and Industrial.The roleFor an important project for one of our partner clients, we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of a new electro-mechanical medical device.ResponsibilitiesWork as part of a team to deliver the mechanical design of a new electro-mechanical medical device, directly interfacing with the customerCollaborate within cross-functional teams, including New Product Introduction, Industrial Design, Electrical Engineering, Testing and other relevant functionsContribute to project development by proposing time- and cost-effective engineering solutionsPrepare high-quality technical documentation and reports, supported by simulations and/or laboratory testingResearch and evaluate new technologies and industry trends, maintaining close collaboration with suppliers and vendorsActively participate in design reviews and technical assessments throughout the product development lifecycleRequirementsMSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical backgroundMinimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in detailed development of Medical Devices or Combination ProductsStrong expertise in dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T knowledge considered a plus)Advanced proficiency in CREO and/or SolidWorksSolid knowledge of Design for Manufacturing principles, particularly for injection molding and high-volume productionExperience with Design for Assembly methodologiesFamiliarity with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)Knowledge of Design Control, Risk Management, Design Verification & Validation (V&V), and Process ValidationAbility to define measurement and control strategies for high-volume manufacturingExperience in prototyping and production of test samplesStrong collaborative attitude and team-oriented approachExcellent communication skills and fluency in EnglishPersonal Data ProcessingIn accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the personal data provided by candidates will be processed by the Data Controller solely for purposes related to the management of the present recruitment and selection process.
