This is a unique opportunity to work with an inventive, user-centered team that designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronic device packaging for Ring, Blink, Key, and Sidewalk worldwide.ResponsibilitiesDrive end-to-end packaging development for Ring, Blink, and Amazon Key hardware products, from concept to mass productionDevelop and implement packaging strategies aligned with brand identity, cost targets, and packout automation initiativesConduct DFM analysis and manufacturing feasibility assessments to inform packaging design decisionsCollaborate with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams across US and Asia to ensure manufacturing feasibility and quality standardsLeverage supplier capabilities and manufacturing partnerships to expand design and development supportConduct detailed engineering studies and provide risk evaluation to design teamsAttend packaging builds and provide reports to engineering and core teams; support issue resolution throughout the development cycleMaintain and document packaging specifications, standards, and best practicesBasic QualificationsExperience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test proceduresExperience with packaging development for high-volume manufacturingAbility to work across time zones and travel internationallyPreferred QualificationsExperience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to productionMaster's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalentOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
