2 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicantsOur client is a company specialized in the food industry, a leader in the production and distribution of confectionery products, which has commissioned us to search and select:1 Senior Financial Controller – Audit BackgroundRole Description:Reporting to the Finance Manager, the resource will be responsible for financial controlling activities supporting strategic decision-making and the operational efficiency of the organization. The role requires strong analytical skills, a structured oversight of accounting processes, and constant collaboration with various business functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and full regulatory compliance.Main Responsibilities:Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes in support of company planning.Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards and internal procedures.Lead cost-control initiatives and financial performance optimization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams by providing financial analyses, insights, and recommendations.Supervise monthly and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate risks and strengthen financial governance.Act as a point of contact for external auditors, leveraging prior audit experience to streamline and improve audit activities.Requirements:4–5 years of experience as a Financial Controller, with prior experience in auditing firms (Big Four or similar) preferred.Strong expertise in management control processes and financial reporting.Excellent analytical skills, precision, and attention to detail.Ability to clearly communicate complex financial information.Strong team spirit, proactivity, and a continuous improvement mindset.Excellent command of the English language.Work location: TerniWorking hours: Full-time, Monday to FridayContract type: Direct employment with the client companyLevel and compensation: Based on actual experienceCollective agreement: Food Industry – 14 monthly paymentsAll job postings are addressed to candidates of all genders (L.903/77) and are compliant with our privacy policy (EU Regulation No. 2016/679).Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Employment type Full-timeJob function Job function Finance and Accounting/AuditingIndustries Food and Beverage ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at NHRG – Agenzia per il Lavoro by 2xSign in to set job alerts for “Financial Controller” roles.
