Training Engineer Location: Milan, Italy (hybrid) Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university; a technical degree is a plus. Certified Workplace Assessor and Internal Verifier will be advantageous. Previous experience of 2–3 years, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Heavy Manufacturing industries, is an advantage but not mandatory. Ability to plan, delegate, schedule and monitor results. Good oral and written communication skills. Excellent proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of any additional languages will be considered an advantage. Ability to travel globally 25‑50% of the time to support training projects. Job Summary The candidate will work as part of the Competency Assurance and Training Department responsible for providing Training Services from the engineering design phase to the safe delivery of industrial (Oil & Gas) facilities to customers. Typical Work Activities During the ITB-Training Proposal Phase: Analyse plant training requirements with plant process scheme and proposal strategy (cost, quality, scheduling). Prepare the training proposal. Estimate man/hours and costs for training development, delivery, and coordination. Validate the training proposal and cost estimate with Proposal and Estimating staff and Competency Assurance and Training Lead. Liaise with plant customer as required. During the Engineering Phase: Support the Training Lead for preparation of the training plan, schedule, matrix, and courses table of content. Conduct development, coordination and approval of training deliverables. Coordinate training program development by external training providers. Coordinate provision of training facilities. During the Training Delivery Phase: Coordinate delivery of the training plan and schedule, facilities and logistics at all venues. Coordinate recording and reporting of training delivery at all venues. Coordinate signing of templates/certificates certifying training completion. Manage and control the training budget.
