Department Manager Men Collection – RinascenteThe Department Manager works closely with the Store Manager to support the store’s organization and contributes to running its own department activities, meeting KPIs and striving to achieve assigned goals. He/she is responsible for merchandising, stock availability, sales, profitability, customer journey, team, and general day‑by‑day management.ResponsibilitiesCategory Sales Management and Business DevelopmentLead and develop the business of the Department, by cultivating a comprehensive and strategic understanding of it and relating to all relevant stakeholdersMonitor and achieve category department performance with relevant KPIsAnalyze the category business, propose and implement action plans to improve resultsSet category performance target for the team and individual with the Store ManagerBe sensitive to competitors’ trading activities and give feedback to Store ManagerClient ManagementLeverage all clienteling tools to achieve Department and Store business goalsDemonstrate sales leadership by delivering excellent customer service and implementing clienteling activitiesManage customer service quality, to meet customer expectations by offering excellent customer service standardsImprove Mystery Shopper Results with action plansImplement appropriate CRM tools and develop loyal customers of particular product categoryAct as brand category ambassador to educate VIP and new clientsOperations and Visual MerchandisingEnsure that merchandise is properly managed, displayed, stored and maintained by teamMaintain inventory accuracy and shrink rates within company standardsReport to Stock Planning and Merchandising team when there is out of stock on best sellersMaintain visual merchandising consistent with company standardsAlign periodically visual merchandising and sales performanceMake the best out of the display and proximity storageTeam Management and DevelopmentDiscuss individual performance every month and coach team membersMotivate the team so that they perform at their highest level to meet their individual and store objectivesOrganize the team in an efficient manner according to business needs and delegate responsibilityTranslate strategic and business goals into concrete and individual actions and objectivesConduct category training to the teamExecute the in‑store training routine set by the Store ManagerProfile5 years' experience in a Supervisor role in Fashion/Luxury Sales with exposure to the relevant categoryMaster's Degree or equivalent is preferredManages own image standards on a high levelStrong selling and communication skills are necessaryExcellent relationships skills, self‑reliantConfidence, organisational skills, professionalismClient focus with great business acumenAdministration and financial skillsComputer skills and retail management system knowledgeGoal‑oriented approach, multitaskingFluency in English; a third language will be considered a plusSeniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeContractJob FunctionRetail Luxury Goods and Jewelry#J-18808-Ljbffr
