Short Term Power Trader Job Position: If you choose to share your energy with us, you will join the Intraday Trading Desk in a dynamic and fast-paced business environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, optimise and execute trading strategies in EU countries on short term power markets. You’ll help to develop our algo trading system strategies, giving an active contribute to our quant team. To be successful in this role, you must have a flair for numbers and logical reasoning, you must be able to tackle and quickly solve problems. To do list (what you will do): Trade on DayAhead and Intraday Power Markets across Europe; Taking active part in developing algorithmic trading models and quantitative models; Developing and executing day-to-day and intraday strategies; Obtaining expert understanding of the key drivers of the power market; Providing open and honest feedback; Required experience (also known as hard skills): A Mathematical / Physic / Statistical / Finance or similar degree; At least 1 year experience in an intraday power trading role; Good knowledge of Excel, Python, VBA; Soft Skills (our favourites): Accuracy, timeliness and attention to details; Strong interest in trading, and result-driven attitude; Able to work well under pressure; Communication skills and ability to work in a team; Excellent organisational and work planning skills What to expect: A contractual framework tailored to you, taking into
