OverviewThe Senior Consultant will work closely with the Partner and the Director of the relevant practice of the firm. In particular, they will manage projects of advocacy, lobbying and coalition building. The Senior Consultant is required to monitor the legislative, regulatory and policy activity of the main Italian government bodies and regulatory authorities, and to develop reports, memos and position papers for the Clients of the firm. In addition, the Senior Consultant should be skilled in legislative drafting.ResponsibilitiesMonitor the legislative, regulatory and policy activity of Italian government bodies and regulatory authorities.Develop reports, memos and position papers for Clients.Lead or contribute to advocacy, lobbying and coalition-building projects.Draft legislative content as required.QualificationsAt least 3 years of experience in Public Policy or Government Affairs roles at consulting firms, corporations or trade associations.Strong academic record. Degrees in Law, Economics or Political Science required; Public Affairs specialization is a further advantage.Fluent English (B2/C1) and fluent Italian.Ability to translate between the languages of business and politics.Detailed knowledge of regulatory and legislative processes at the Italian level; knowledge of EU regulatory and legislative processes is a further advantage.Analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively in writing and in person; ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.Additional InformationAll applications should be submitted in English.Data Controller and data processing: The firm Cattaneo Zanetto Pomposo & Co.
