Overview This role is in the UPS Healthcare Italia division which operates in the pharmaceutical logistics and distribution market. Place of employment: Somaglia. The Operations team is responsible for all the core areas of UPS Healthcare's business, managing warehouse processes, Inventory and Customer Service & Data Management activities. UPS offers important career and continuous training opportunities to improve your skills within the organization. This rolefocuses on leading warehouse operations in accordance with approved procedures and guidelines. ResponsibilitiesEnsuring that the operations at the facility (reception, inspection receipt, storage, VAS, picking and shipping) are performed in accordance with the approved procedures/work instructions and in compliance with the EU GMP/EU GDP guidelines. Managing and organizing all activities efficiently and productively, in accordance with ISO 13485 and UPS HLD standards, and in compliance with EU GMP/EU GDP guidelines. Conducting performance reviews of the assigned department. Controlling and optimizing operational aspects of the warehouse. Reporting day-to-day activities. Dealing with internal and external (customer) issues effectively. Acting as back-up for Supervisor in case of absence. Skills and QualificationsKnowledge of GMP and/or GDP guidelines is an advantage. Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehousing. Knowledge of various computer systems. Able to work within time-limits (deadlines). Experience in supervision.
