RINA is currently recruiting for a FPGA Engineer to join its office in Roma or Genova within the Space & Defence Division.MissionThe role focuses on designing, implementation, testing and optimization of FPGA-based solutions for a variety of applications.Key AccountabilitiesProvide support to system engineer for FPGA definitionDefine the FPGA detailed specificationDefine and evaluate IP cores to be procuredDefine the FPGA architectureDesign the FPGA in VHDLPerform coding rules conformance checkPerform code coverageDesign the testbench for the FPGAPerform simulationPerform synthesis and P&RAnalysis of pre and post-layout simulationsParticipate to FPGA test and validationEducationMaster’s Degree in Electronic/TLC Engineering or ElectronicsQualificationsDegree in Electronics Engineering or PhysicsAbility to understand the VHDL and / or Verilog-System Verilog codeIn-depth knowledge of FPGA development tools (Vivado)Experience in hardware development for Digital Signal Processing applicationsFPGA design and simulation skillsProject Development Plan: development, testing, integration, documentsGood knowledge of Tools: Vivado HLS 2018.3; QuestaSim 10.6Good knowledge of laboratory instrumentation (es multimeter and oscilloscope)Nice to have: previous experience in FPGA design in military will be appreciatedCompetenciesCLIENT INTIMACY - Embrace internal and external client needs, expectations, and requirements to ensure maximum satisfactionEARN TRUST - Take everyone's opinion into
