Energy Project Support Advisor - Categorie Protette Posting Date: 25 Aug 2026 City: Genova Location: Genova, IT, 16129 Contract Type: Fixed-Term Division: RINA Consulting Planning, Monitoring & Business Su Level of experience: Junior RINA is currently recruiting for a Energy Project Support Advisor - Categorie Protette to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the RINA Consulting Planning, Monitoring & Business Support Division.
Mission
The Project Support Advisor provides operational and administrative support to Project Managers and project teams, with a focus on invoicing, progress reporting (SAL), and credit recovery activities. The role supports the preparation and monitoring of billing documents and ensures accurate documentation and stakeholder communication to support effective project execution and cash collection.Key Accountabilities
The successful candidate will support the administrative management of engineering projects, with a strong focus on invoicing, progress reporting (SAL), and credit recovery activities. More specifically, he/she will:- prepare, review, and manage progress reports (SAL) to support customer billing and project reporting activities;
- create and issue draft invoices, credit notes, and related supporting documentation through company systems and customer portals;
- monitor the invoicing process, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and billing deadlines;
- support credit recovery activities by monitoring outstanding receivables, following up with internal stakeholders and customers, and assisting in the resolution of billing disputes;
- maintain accurate records of invoicing, collections, and project documentation within company systems;
- interact regularly with Project Managers, Finance teams, customers, partners, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate billing and cash collection processes.
- monitor and analyze invoicing performance, collections, and overdue receivables;
- prepare reports and dashboards to track billing status, outstanding balances, and cash collection activities;
- leverage Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools to extract, validate, and analyze financial and project-related data;
- provide insights and recommendations to improve invoicing efficiency, credit recovery performance, and cash flow management.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree High School Diploma/GED in EconomicsQualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Economics will be a plus
- Minimum 2/3 years’ experience in the similar roles
- Past experience in the accounting and finance department of a large company, preferably Engineering consulting will be a plus
- Experience in accounting, finance and tax matters
- Fluency in English is a requirement, knowledge of other languages would be a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Access and profiency Excel)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines and organize monthly and quarterly monitoring activities
