The role focuses on protecting the Arduino brand and maintaining the integrity and security of the Arduino ecosystem.Company: Qualcomm Europe, Inc. Italy Branch Office. Job Area: Operations Group.About The RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Brand Protection Manager to lead global efforts in safeguarding the Arduino brand across all digital channels. This includes online brand protection, combating counterfeit goods, unauthorized use of intellectual property (IP), and digital infringement across e-commerce platforms, social media, and domain names. The ideal candidate will operate within a large, global organization, engaging cross-functionally and coordinating with senior executive leadership and European as well as US-based legal counsel and attorneys. The role also involves leading evangelization efforts with internal and external stakeholders to integrate brand protection principles across the organization.Minimum QualificationsOR Associate's degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience.OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant work experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, lead and execute a comprehensive global online brand protection strategy, targeting and eliminating counterfeit products and IP infringement across major international e-commerce sites (e.g., Amazon, Alibaba, eBay), websites, and social media platforms.Manage the relationship with our specialized brand enforcement provider to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, timely and accurate removal of infringing content and products.Develop and deliver evangelization efforts (e.g., training, seminars) to internal teams and external partners on brand protection policies and best practices.Act as the primary point of contact for attorneys on all brand enforcement matters, providing detailed case documentation and strategic recommendations, aligned with global legal objectives.Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with senior management across Sales, Legal, Product Development and Marketing to ensure a unified approach to brand protection.Conduct market surveillance and analysis to identify emerging threats and new platforms requiring brand protection, and report findings to senior leadership.Participate in managing Arduino’s IP portfolio, including trademarks and copyrights, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to pursue legal action where necessary.Required Skills And ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of professional experience in Brand Protection and Intellectual Property enforcement, in-house within a global technology or consumer electronics company or a brand protection service provider.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior executives, cross-functional department heads, and external legal counsel.Expertise in online enforcement and anti-counterfeiting programs, with knowledge of takedown procedures for major international e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon Brand Registry, Alibaba IP Protection).Experience managing complex IP portfolios and coordinating enforcement across multiple jurisdictions.Data analysis and reporting: ability to use brand protection monitoring tools, analyze enforcement data, and prepare executive-level reports.Legal and regulatory knowledge: understanding of global IP laws and international trade regulations affecting brand protection.Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Marketing, or related field is required; Master’s degree (e.g., JD, MBA, LLM) is an advantage.Native-level fluency in written and spoken English. Proficiency in other languages relevant to global e-commerce (e.g., Mandarin, Spanish) is an advantage.Additional InformationReferences to a number of years of experience are indicative; equivalents will be considered.
