PROCESS CONTROL & AUTOMATION PROJECT LEADER Roma EUR 60.000 - 80.000 3 giorni fa He / She is responsible of the activities pertaining to the discipline within a project, in compliance with the assigned budget and the project schedule, assuring the cost optimization. The Project Leader does a feedback to the Head of Department concerning problems arising from application of standard methods and work instruction to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department. He / She conducts technical training as per department and Company needs and exchange experience with colleagues of the entire Group for new Design techniques and he / she need to keep himself up-to-date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline. Key Activities & Responsibilities To prepare and discuss with the Project Team (PD / PM and PEM) and the Head of Department the execution strategy of the project, and assure its application throughout the entire project life. To cooperate with the Project Engineering Manager and the other Project Leaders, for the preparation, application and maintenance of the project procedures, in compliance to the contractual requirement, To the Department general guidelines, and to the applicable standards. To participate in the definition of project schedule, coordinated by Project Engineering Manager, and To guarantee the congruence and the feasibility for the part of the project under his responsibility. To assure the coordination of the activities of the discipline regardless the location and distribution of the engineering centers guaranteeing the consistency of the documents with the contract, the respect of the time schedule, the implementation of the contract requirements, the compliance of the assigned budget (both cost and man‑hours) and the quality of the deliverables, under the guidance of the Project Engineering Manager and cooperating with the other Project Leaders. To interact with Client representatives and Vendors for all the technical topics impacting on the project both in time and costs. To assist the Project Engineering Manager in the individuation and application of technical solution in order to optimize the project cost in the respect of the contractual requirements. To guarantee assistance to departments responsible for the inspection, construction and commissioning activities upon request, as per project needs. Personal AttributesDegree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering in engineering companies or manufacturer of static equipment At least four years of experience as a project leader Experience in coordinating international working groups Fluent English speaker and writer Availability to travel for short/medium period in Italy and abroadPast experiences in autonomously executing tasks on projects Past experiences on control systems factory acceptance tests and / or plant erection / commissioning In this role, business trips for testing and commissioning are expected, for an approximate period of 6 to 9 months, at construction sites located outside Italy Job function Oil and Gas and Industrial Machinery Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
