General Ledger Accounting Specialist – QSRP QSRP – Part of the Quick Service Restaurant Platform, QSRP delivers mouth‑watering food experiences to 100 million customers annually through 1,200+ restaurants and 7,000 employees in nine key countries. About the position We are looking for a highly motivated General Ledger Accountant to join our Finance team in Assago, Italy. In this role you will manage the accounting activities of several holding entities of QSRP in Europe, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and smooth collaboration with colleagues and external partners across multiple countries. Key responsibilitiesManage the monthly closing process, including accruals and journal entries, for assigned entities Record inter‑company loans, interest and related transactions Perform inter‑company reconciliations and ensure timely elimination of inter‑company balances Oversee payroll accounting in coordination with external fiduciary in Switzerland Conduct analytical reviews of P&L and balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies Provide oversight for Accounts Payable and Treasury activities performed by shared service teams for the entities in scope Partner with external fiduciaries in Luxembourg and Switzerland to ensure statutory and compliance requirements are met Upload and validate financial data from the local S4H accounting system into the Sigma consolidation tool Support internal and external audits by preparing reconciliations, documentation and audit schedules Collaborate closely with the Head of Accounting in Belgium and cross‑functional teams across EuropeWhat you bringBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 2 years of professional accounting experience, ideally within an international environment Fluency in English (written and spoken); French is a strong plus Good knowledge of Italian is a plus Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, payroll processes and inter‑company transactions Basic understanding of IFRS and its application to financial reporting Basic knowledge of ERP systems (S4H is a plus)As an individual you areAnalytical, a problem‑solver with strong analytical skills Able to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues and external partners across borders Accurate, reliable and detail‑orientedWhy join usContribute to our mission of becoming the market leader in the QSR sector Plenty of career growth opportunities across all our international headquarters Company culture centered on learning and development Fun initiatives focused on giving back to the community Flexible and hybrid work model with modern office environments Sustained environmental sustainability as a core principle Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, welcoming everyoneBenefitsMeal vouchers Yearly bonus based on performanceResourcesQSRP website Our Company Video Our LinkedIn page O'Tacos Quick Burger King Italy and Burger King Belgium Chopstix Dunkin' G La DalleDoes this sound exciting?
