Job DescriptionAutomation Team is a cross-functional group focused on streamlining operations, accelerating delivery, and reducing manual effort. This team plays a critical role in driving digital transformation by designing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions that enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability.We are looking for an experienced Automation & DevOps Engineer to join our IT team. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, with the goal of enhancing efficiency.Core ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Automation:Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AnsibleAutomate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of cloud and on-prem resourcesCI/CD & DevOps Automation:Build and optimize continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, etc.Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and deployment workflowsProcess & Workflow Automation:Identify and automate repetitive IT processesImplement event-driven and API-based integrations between platforms.RequirementsExperience: Minimum 3-5 years in automation engineering, DevOps, or CI/CD pipeline development.Technical Skills:Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform)Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Strong understanding of CI/CD workflows and infrastructure as codeProgramming Languages: Python, Bash, YAML; familiarity with Groovy and Go is a plus, and version control systems (Git).Other: Good Knowledge of at least 2 of the major CSP (AWS, Azure, GCP)Problem-solving: Ability to analyze issues and design effective automation solutions.Communication: Clear and professional interaction with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Teamwork: Collaborative mindset to work across development, operations, and QA teams.Adaptability: Comfortable with fast-paced environments and evolving technologies.Attention to detail: Precision in scripting, testing, and documentation.Time management: Efficient handling of multiple tasks and deadlines.Proactive attitude: Initiative in identifying automation opportunities and process improvements.Company ProfileGenerali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
