This role builds relevancy for the brand and ensures consistent and premium brand experiences.This is a hybrid role based out of Northbrook, IL.Key Accountabilities Earned MediaSupport day-to-day strategic, integrated consumer PR programming across Bakery, Pasta and Condiments that generates key narratives, creating an always‑on approach to communication and coverageSteward cross functional integration with a variety of disciplines such as Brand, Media, Digital, R+D, and Shopper Marketing to ensure strategic linkage across a variety of communications initiatives, finding potential synergies and opportunities for integration and amplificationSupport influencer marketing as necessary, coordinating with PR agency and internal team to ensure flawless execution and an exceptional influencer experienceIdentify critical press relationships across targeted business, trade, local and consumer publicationsStoryline for unique pitch angles and agile opportunities to build credibility and relevance for the brandManage PR agency for expanded support across proactive storytellingStay informed on overarching business, culinary & R+D and marketing initiatives and advise on key opportunities for the organization that will create compelling storytellingWork across the marketing team and cross‑functionally to ensure all internal and external messaging are brand appropriate and mitigate any risk of negative coverageDevelop KPIs, establish and track results driving accountable growth in exposureExperiential MarketingLead priority experiential moments for the brand including Natural Products Expo West and key Formula 1 races delivering best in class brand experiencesSupport media and influencer focused events and in‑person experiencesResponsible for all facets of event planning from partner / vendor procurement to SOW development to design/look/feel, catering needs and onsite executionManage agency partners throughout planning and execution – including training brand ambassadors when neededWork closely with internal culinary team on recipe development/testing and key catering needsWork with legal and procurement on all contracting needsDevelop KPIs and report on results and learningsMust have strong project and time management skills given the need to support multiple projects at a timeOnsite staffing for key events requiredOther duties as assignedDesired Skills and BackgroundBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communication, or related field2+ years of experience leading large‑scale events (serving 25,000+) to mid‑scale events (serving 5,000 – 20,000) and small‑scale eventsPublic Relations experience preferredProficient understanding of health codes with regard to food preparation & service, specifically in CaliforniaAstute ability to assess risk and design contingency effortsHighly proven problem‑solving skills with solid business judgmentExceptional regard for high‑quality standards, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlinesProven negotiations skillsAbility to keep agencies tightly to task, prioritize, multi‑task, manage multiple/simultaneous workstreamsStrong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communications skills, both online and offline.Strong ability to work in teams and build good working relationships, but also work independentlyAbility to navigate ambiguous situationsConsumer Packaged Goods industry experience; passion for foodProficient MS Office (Microsoft Word; Advanced experience using Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to travel up to 30-40%As of the date of this posting, the estimated pay range for this role is $75k-$85k plus eligibility to participate in the annual discretionary bonus plan. The actual pay for the position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to job‑related experience, skills, education, location, and internal equity.
