About the Role: Role:Oracle DBA Location:Bari and Milan, Italy (Hybrid) Hiring:Permanent Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate should have expert-level knowledge of Oracle technology, capable of handling complex issues independently, providing resolutions within agreed SLAs, ensuring customer satisfaction, and adhering to policies and procedures. Candidates with creative thinking, a willingness to bring innovations, and passion for challenging initiatives will be preferred. Principal Responsibilities:Provide production support for Oracle databases and act as a Subject Matter Expert for the support team. Perform Root Cause Analysis and implement permanent fixes. Investigate and resolve database performance issues. Lead the database team during crisis calls, participate in MIR and PIR calls, and mentor team members. Maintain complex High Availability Replication setups. Provide consultancy for complex setups and Disaster Recovery planning. Identify automation opportunities and develop automation to reduce manual efforts and standardize processes. Required Skills:Strong technical knowledge of Oracle concepts such as RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate. Expertise in Oracle versions 12c and 19c, including OEM. Experience in building and deploying solutions, capacity planning, and DR planning. Troubleshooting performance issues and designing backup and recovery strategies. Expertise in role swap failover planning and implementation. Knowledge of database space management and automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, Tanium. Additional Skills:Knowledge of Oracle Cloud, UNIX-based OS, MongoDB, Db2 LUW. Familiarity with Agile practices and DevOps tools. Soft Skills and Behavioral Qualities:Efficient task management and ownership. Proactive approach and clear, timely communication with customers, team members, and management. Mandatory Skills:Oracle Cloud Services, Oracle RAC, RMAN, GoldenGate, Oracle DB Administration, Oracle Linux Administration.#J-18808-Ljbffr
