As part of our newly formed Data Engineering Team, you will help design and operate a state‑of‑the‑art data lakehouse powered by the latest cloud technologies. You’ll work with massive, high‑impact datasets generated by cutting‑edge DC fast‑charging infrastructure, transforming raw data into insights that enable scalable green technology worldwideYour ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of our data warehouse / lakehouse, focusing on analytics‑ready data modelsDesign, build, and maintain ETL/ELT transformations, data pipelines and semantic models for structured and semi‑structured dataEnsure data quality, metric consistency, performance optimization, and governed access for analytics use casesContribute to analytics engineering best practices, documentation, and data cataloguing to enable self‑service analyticsCollaborate on near‑real‑time / streaming data models to support operational analyticsYour Qualifications & SkillsMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or similarSeveral years of professional experience in a similar role in the field of data engineering or data analytics or database developmentGood understanding of SQL and data modeling conceptsHands‑on experience in the creation of dashboards using e.g. Power BI, Grafana, Dash or Shiny, Tableau, etcExperience with version‑control systems and workflowsFamiliarity with cloud‑based data platformsGood understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker)Exposure to big data tools such as PySpark and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is a plusInterest or experience in modern data stack tools such as dbt, Delta Lake, Iceberg, and Spark‑based lakehousesFluency in English; Italian and/or German as a plusOUR COMMITMENTInnovative work environment in a young, dynamic teamHigh‑tech projects in the future‑proof sector of e‑mobilityOpportunities for advancement in a growing companyA wide range of further training opportunitiesAttractive bonus system and performance‑related payAdditional company benefitsWHY ALPITRONICTogether with our customers, we are driving the world towards sustainable mobility – with cutting‑edge technology, we inspire with the most innovative and reliable solutions.
