Additional duties may be assigned as needed.QualificationsBachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited universityMinimum of ten (10) years of work experience in the relevant discipline after earning the BSc degreeProven excellent spoken and written English skills, including the ability to write specifications and reportsResponsibilitiesMain responsibilities include:Ensuring the overall technical integrity of underwater pipeline and riser system design, including design, structural, and flow assurance aspectsEnsuring compliance of underwater pipeline and riser systems with international standards, company guidelines, and best practicesVerifying the accuracy of cost and schedule estimates for underwater pipeline and riser systemsManaging the timely execution of subsea production systems and pipelines within budget and project specificationsEnsuring designs are suitable for project execution, including detailed design by contractorsMinimizing design and construction changes unless required for safety or operability reasonsApplying HSEQ standards and meeting health, safety, environmental, and quality targetsKey ActivitiesDefining design premises for underwater pipeline and riser systems, including structural and flow assurance aspectsSpecifying geotechnical, geophysical, and met oceanographic surveys and studiesDesigning underwater pipeline routing and riser system layoutSupervising internal and subcontracted design activitiesMaterial selection and specificationPreparing ITT and evaluating bid proposalsPlanning and monitoring procurement, construction, and commissioning activitiesEnsuring quality assurance from design through start-upEstimating costs and schedules for underwater systemsMonitoring subsea production systems and pipelines to ensure schedule, cost, and quality complianceConducting design reviews and contractor engineering evaluationsAdopting appropriate FISE standards per company procedures and local regulationsManaging contractors and suppliers, including troubleshooting construction issuesLeading engineering teams and site supervisorsReviewing and approving or rejecting variation requests and claims from contractorsProviding technical support during installation and commissioningSupporting facilities handover and permitting processes#J-18808-Ljbffr
