Randstad Leader Search & Selection, specialized in the search and selection of middle and senior management profiles, is recruiting for Energy Company a:Senior Legal CounselYour Impact and Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including EPC, turnkey, engineering, O&M, non-disclosure (NDA), joint development (JDA), and partnership contracts. Lead negotiations for complex contracts based on international standard forms such as FIDIC, NEC, IChemE, and Orgalime. Review public and private tender documentation for the supply of plants and services, assessing risks and legal implications. Coordinate the input of various company functions (engineering, procurement, finance, risk management, etc.) during contract drafting and negotiations. Provide legal opinions on regulatory interpretation and assess the feasibility and enforceability of transactions or contractual provisions. Act as the legal expert within multidisciplinary project teams, supporting the structuring and implementation of complex initiatives. Manage pre-litigation and litigation phases, including judicial and arbitral proceedings, with clients, suppliers, and third parties. Liaise with and coordinate external counsel in all jurisdictions, managing budgets, negotiating engagement letters, and overseeing assigned work.What You Bring to the Role A Law degree; admission to the Bar in an EU Member State, the United Kingdom, or the United States constitutes a preferred qualification. At least 8 years of post-graduate professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years within structured multinational companies in the industrial and/or plant engineering sector. Excellent command of both Italian and English (written and spoken); knowledge of a third language is a preferred qualification. Willingness to travel abroad. Personal authority and the ability to build professional credibility and establish effective, collaborative relationships with all stakeholders.
