NTT DATA is headquartered in Tokyo with over 123,000 professionals in more than 50 countries. role as an Azure Data Architect in NTT DATA will be to support customers in Big Data projects, collaborating with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases, data needs, and outcome objectives. You will deliver data acquisition, transformations and improvement, cleansing, conversion, compression, and loading of data into data lakes for analytics and machine learning models to consume.The Azure Data Architect in NTT DATA understands cloud-native environment challenges and can think outside the box to find innovative, yet simple, solutions to everyday issues, sharing those solutions with the team. We are looking for an engineer who can bridge Data Science and Data Engineering with a clear understanding of both worlds. If you are a Data Scientist seeking more experience in data preparation, or a Data Engineer with an interest in Data Science, you can be an Azure Data Engineer in NTT DATA’s Business Intelligence Service Line, in an environment where Japanese and European cultural elements are intertwined.Required SkillsWorking experience in a cloud native environment in at least one of the 3 major public clouds (GCP/AWS/Azure), with 5 years experience on Azure preferredExperience and knowledge of Big Data Architectures, cloud and on premiseAzure infrastructure and networking working experienceExperience in building and delivering proofs-of-concept to address specific business needs using appropriate techniques, data sources and technologiesExperience in migrating workloads from on premise to cloud environmentExperience in monitoring distributed infrastructure using Azure tools or open source tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus)Proven experience in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scriptingSQL language knowledgeExperience with Agile Methodology and KanbanExperience in leading medium teamsExperience with Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and other Azure ETL/ELT toolsMicrosoft Certification: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect ExpertOther Big Data certifications (e.g., Cloudera, Databricks) are welcomeExperience with non-Azure ETL/ELT solutions (Talend, Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica PowerCenter, etc.)Experience with Data Visualization solutions (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, etc.)LocationRoma, Milano, Torino, Bari, Cosenza, Bologna, Salerno, Treviso, Pisa e NapoliSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT ConsultingNote: Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at NTT DATA Europe & Latam.#J-18808-Ljbffr
