Kyndryl is seeking an Application Delivery Manager with a strong foundation in application development and testing and a passion for delivering robust, cloud-based applications. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams through the solutioning, planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects, ensuring that every release meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. You will leverage your expertise in testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and defect management to define technical solutions and delivery strategies. By establishing and scaling a Software Factory—including people, processes, and tools—you will drive efficiency and quality across the software development lifecycle. ResponsibilitiesAdvise, analyze, and support Clients in analyzing, modernizing, and developing digital solutions by gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating them into functional and non-functional specifications, combining knowledge of industry processes (banking and insurance primarily) and application development skills. Define the Application Architecture, including custom, software or package-based solutions and application integration, designing cutting-edge software frameworks, systems, and products that will set the standard for the industry, and identifying and resolving any framework design weaknesses. Define project scope, timelines, and staffing plans for the end-to-end application development cycle. Technically lead the application development team, perform design and code reviews, and ensure that uniform enterprise-wide application design standards are maintained. Coordinate engineering and test squads to ensure features are thoroughly tested (functional, integration, system) before release. Oversee the automation of test suites for regression, scalability, and performance testing, tracking and managing defects, risks, and dependencies to maintain delivery momentum. Ensure seamless integration and release readiness with close collaboration with the Infrastructure teams.Your ability to see the product from the end user’s perspective will be key in delivering solutions that are not only technically sound but also user-centric. Required Technical And Professional Expertise8+ years of architectural experience and leading the delivery of complex software solutions for large enterprise clients, across both traditional waterfall and agile environments. Comprehensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through testing, deployment, and post-release support. Track record of successfully managing the development and release of complex features for web-based enterprise applications, including oversight of automated UI, CLI, and API testing. Proven expertise in quality assurance practices, with a deep understanding of testing standards, tools, and technologies to ensure robust and scalable software delivery and hands-on experience with automation frameworks. Extensive knowledge of Financial Services client contexts and processes (Banking and/or Insurance), working on digital transformation projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, applied to risk mitigation, defect resolution, and continuous improvement of delivery processes. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, fostering alignment between engineering, QA, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.Preferred Technical And Professional ExperienceStrong grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring alignment between technical execution and business objectives throughout planning, development, testing, and release phases. Proficiency in DevSecOps topics with the ability to guide teams in integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines for efficient testing and deployment. Proven knowledge of other industries, client contexts, and processes (e.g., industrial, automotive, retail, utilities, public sector) working on digital transformation projects. Professional Certifications in Project Management and/or in Enterprise Architecture governance and design.
