Ultimately, by delivering our smoke‑free and beyond nicotine future.Your ‘day to day’As a Sr Engineer - MBSE and Multi Physics Modelling, you will report to the Manager Multi Physics Modelling and will be part of our Modelling team within Product Quality department for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna. The position will be based in Bologna.In your role, you will proactively lead projects and perform complex analyses to meet Product Development and/or R&D requests regarding multi physics simulation for design and specifications definition of new products and processes, in the respect of the agreed time scheduling, quality levels, safety/security standards.A key responsibility will be to develop the Model Bases System Engineering environment as a new way to support product development and decision‑making process. Finally, you will also apply the new know‑how & tools within PMI, from Idea Generation to Prototype Validation.More specifically, you’llPro‑actively lead multi physics modelling projects to meet future product development objectives by achieving the technical and quality requirements with timeliness, to support Key PMI business parameters (Innovation, Productivity and Speed to Market).Apply and develop new modelling techniques, create know‑how and tools to develop products and processes from Idea Generation to Production.
