Let’s build something legendary together.Key job responsibilitiesOwn building Amazon first ground-up tech capabilities and productsYou will own building technology that innovates for the fast growing e-commerce domain in India and beyondTo enable this business initiatives, you will lead the definition and execution of strategic projects aimed at building best-in-class experience for customer and delivery experienceYou will have end to end ownership of cross-functional projects, including product definition, roadmap/resource planning and project executionYou will work closely with product, business, category and marketing leadership, including executive leadership at Amazon, to define the product and build vision for the programAt the heart of this role is technology innovation. The team is suitable for passionate leaders who are equally interested in contributing to business and product roadmap while leading a high performing and high velocity team.Basic Qualifications6+ years of engineering experience2+ years of engineering team management experience6+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experienceKnowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operationsExperience partnering with product or program management teamsExperience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systemsPreferred QualificationsExperience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategyExperience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineersOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
