Subsea Trees Mechanical Engineer – Baker HughesApply to join Baker Hughes Oilfield Equipment Team, focusing on subsea and surface‑pressure equipment design and manufacturing. This role supports global shop operations, NPI/Product Structuring programs, and manufacturing quality control.ResponsibilitiesExtract and resolve non‑conformances from the NCM tool for assigned projects.Lead prompt resolution of non‑conformances, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.Lead revisions of drawings and parts as needed.Support Test and Assembly activities in the shop (Montrose, Scotland, UK).Monitor quality engineering metrics, control KPIs, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.QualificationsMSc in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) or higher.Experience in mechanical design of subsea pressure‑containing equipment and tooling.Knowledge of manufacturing technologies, machining, repair processes, and GD&T.Proficiency in CAD tool CREO (PRO‑E) and IPEM/TC database.Strong teamwork, inclusiveness, and communication skills.Work EnvironmentFlexible working patterns: flexible hours to accommodate productivity.Compensated with contemporary work‑life balance policies, comprehensive private medical care, life insurance, disability programs, tailored financial programs, and additional elected or voluntary benefits.About UsBaker Hughes is an energy‑technology company delivering solutions to energy and industrial clients globally.
