Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and innovative SDE's to be part of our founding Amazon Leo Commerce team in India. This role will be instrumental in establishing and growing our presence in the region, while developing critical commerce systems for Amazon Leo global operations. Export Control Requirement This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations. Key Job Responsibilities Actively participate in overall product strategy and UI presentation. Design and implement globally available distributed cloud architectures. Partner with AWS, retail e-commerce, networking, and security engineering teams. Be involved in every aspect of the UI for new features – from idea generation, exploring different design options, and technical design through software development using the latest technologies and design patterns. Collaborate with Software Development Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Designers to ensure the best experience for our customers.
