We pursue therapies that minimize physical burden on patients. We offer diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for Interventional Cardiology (IC), Peripheral Intervention (PI), and Interventional Oncology (IO).Job Summary As a Product Specialist in our Italy sales department, you will be responsible for promoting our Interventional Oncology (IO) portfolio. Your goal is to support as well as initiate sales in targeted accounts by supporting the team with your technical expertise and market insights. You will provide product support, education, specialised technical training, and insight in the proper use of specialty medical devices in selected IO procedures. Therefore, you will be operating often within a clinical and/or surgical environment. The geographical focus is on Italy mainly and expands to Greece and Cyprus as well. You are under the direct supervision of Terumo Interventional Systems Cluster Senior Director, Roberto Caranti. In addition, you will work closely with all Sales & Marketing Managers, Product Managers and Area Managers. More info regarding these products you can find on our website.Job Responsibilities Product ExpertiseUnderstand product specifications and their positioning in the marketUnderstand pathologies, therapeutic fields and medical procedures related to the product portfolio (Chemo Embolisation, Ablation…)Sales & Technical SupportAssist the Sales & Marketing team in the overall preparation of the annual business plan and more specifically in the preparation of tendersAssist HCP's in the appropriate use of the product portfolio, collect and communicate feedback from the marketMake sure dealers, distributors and agents (+- 70% of sales) knowledge and training capabilities on the product portfolio remain up to dateAnalyse competitor products to determine Terumo Product Portfolio USP'sFollow‑up of product quality related complaintsTraining of internal and external stakeholdersGive insightful product training courses to both internal and external stakeholders such as sales colleagues, distributors, agents, HCP's,…Profile DescriptionBy preference you have a degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related fieldA first experience, preferably in a (vascular) surgery related field at a distributor or manufacturer.
