The Partner We are looking for a Safety Engineer for a renowned Italian company specializing in the development and production of chemical products for the global pharmaceutical industry. The RoleExecute safety analyses collaborating with internal functions. Verify plant and utility compliance with intrinsic risk, including review of construction or modification projects. Participate in pre‑startup site visits. Investigate incidents and near misses, proposing measures to prevent recurrence. Manage preventive activities for relevant incident risks under D. lgs. 105/2015 and ensure Seveso Directive compliance. Perform fire safety assessments and issue risk statements under D. lgs. 151/2011. Update the Safety Report and maintain the Seveso substance inventory, handling notifications to relevant authorities. Maintain relationships with external entities such as Firefighters, Regional Technical Committees and external consultants.Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably chemical, mechanical or safety). At least 2 years of Process Safety experience, preferably in the chemical industry or consultancies. Knowledge of relevant incident risk regulations (D. lgs. 105/2015) and the Seveso Directive. Knowledge of main incident analysis and investigation methodologies.
