Overview Project Developer – Photovoltaic Solar – Italy (Hybrid) Join ID Energy Group, a leading specialist in solar photovoltaic energy. With over 17 years of experience, we support clients across Italy, Hungary, and Spain in their transition to renewable energy. About the Role The Project Developer will report to the Head of Development and oversee greenfield projects and co‑developments, ensuring they reach the ready‑to‑build stage and managing construction permitting in collaboration with the implementation team. Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze solar projects (including due diligence and commercial negotiations) and secure internal approvals. Coordinate and manage the development & permitting process to achieve timely “RTB” status. Manage relationship and contractual obligations with co‑development partners. Prepare projects for tenders and authorizations. Maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as municipalities, public authorities, DSOs, TSOs, regional bodies, landowners, and service providers. Coordinate internal teams (legal, engineering, construction, finance, and controlling). Develop in‑depth knowledge of local market legislation, regulations, and subsidy schemes. Control costs and cash‑flow within the development budget.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 4‑5 years of experience in renewable energy project development in Italy; experience in tendering and phase‑3 (Fer‑X) is a plus. Deep knowledge of site‑securing, interconnection, and permitting processes for renewable projects in Italy. Extensive knowledge of environmental issues. Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Team‑player with ability to collaborate across disciplines. University degree.
