Department intro The team in Vimercate focuses on system characterization activities for Managed NAND (mNAND) devices, with a particular emphasis on automotive applications. The group works on multidisciplinary projects that combine expertise in electronics, computer science, and artificial intelligence. They apply AI methodologies to analyze code and generate logical tests to verify the behavior of internal algorithms within the devices. Position overview In support of Micron mNAND activities, we are offering an internship opportunity (ID JR83007) in a multi-disciplinary team, engaged in the system characterization of Managed NAND devices in automotive ecosystems, located in Vimercate (MB). We are looking for a motivated and curious intern to join our engineering team. The project involves applying Artificial Intelligence methodologies to analyze code and generate logical tests to verify the behavior of internal algorithms. Responsibilities: Generate logical tests to verify internal algorithms. Define test coverage metrics for logical tests. Analyze statistical usage cases and define coverage metrics. Compare the efficiency and effectiveness of logical testing versus statistical testing approaches. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degrees in computer science or equivalent. Basic knowledge of AI/ML and programming (preferably Python). Interest in software verification and algorithm analysis. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated interest or basic experience in leveraging AI-based tools for code analysis and interpretation. Basic knowledge or hands-on experience with embedded systems, with a focus on hardware-software integration. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
