The successful candidate will teach Biology to our IB Diploma Programme students, and contribute to the continued development of a high-performing Science faculty.This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about science education, inquiry-based learning, and supporting students in achieving excellent academic outcomes within an international school environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality Biology teaching aligned with IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme requirementsPrepare students effectively for internal and external assessmentsFoster curiosity, critical thinking and scientific inquiry through engaging lessonsContribute to curriculum planning and departmental developmentUse assessment data to monitor progress and support student achievementSupport students for whom English is an additional languageParticipate fully in school life, including meetings, professional development and co-curricular activitiesUphold and promote the IB Learner Profile and Inspired Education ethosEssentialLegal right to live and work in Italy or an EU passportDegree in Biology or a closely related scientific disciplineRecognised teaching qualificationMinimum of 2 years’ teaching experience at secondary levelExperience teaching Biology to IGCSE and/or IB Diploma Programme studentsStrong classroom management and communication skillsCommitment to inclusive, student-centred learningPreferredExperience in an international or multicultural school settingProven success delivering IB DP BiologyAbility to contribute to broader science or interdisciplinary initiativesSafeguarding Statement Inspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
