Senior Game Designer

We are looking for a Senior Game Designer to join us in creating and guiding our projects, from VR simulators to educational games and multiplayer experiencesAt AnotheReality we believe in the power of XR and gaming applied to tackle real-world challenges, providing value to businesses and education institutions while delivering entertainment as well. Every project is approached with creativity and problem solving, ensuring that our proposal is effective in terms of entertainment, business value and feasibilityThe Game Designer we’re looking for err towards the creative / narrative sphere, able to analyze new briefs and propose solutions to clients with the proper documentation.You will be front-facing with clients, explaining to them your project and intermediate milestones, and you will see through the whole development of the projects you proposed, developing the project alongside your colleagues and ensuring the quality of the product developed.To be clear: this is not a junior position, and we require the designer to be able to work in Unity, not only on documentsIMPORTANT: we’ll be starting following up applications after 06 Jan 2025Understand requirements, ask the right questions and design tailored XR or gaming solutionsInteract with clients during design proposals and development, producing the necessary visual documentation and presenting itPlan future developments with the support of the development team including scope, roadmap and milestonesWork with the team or on your own to define the systems and the mechanics and prototype them when neededCreate and maintain a clear and efficient design documentationOwn the product vision and ensure that creative, quality and budgetary goals are metMentor other members of the team as needed4+ years of industry experience, with proven track record of completed projectsExcellent creative skills and able to analyze game systemsUnity engine knowledge and basic scripting skillsKnowledge of UX design and able to apply it in every projectGit (you will be cloning, pulling and pushing)Team worker, willing to help others and share knowledgeGreat communication skills, (able to discuss with non-gamer people or non-technical people)Passion for games, XR and cutting edge technologyA natural curiosity for all aspects of game development and a willingness to work on a wide variety of systemsAble to to mentor other peopleFluent in Italian and English, written and spokenExpertise in VR and AR design principlesLevel DesignNarrative Design & StorytellingKnowledge of software like Adobe XD/Figma, Photoshop, PowerPoint or other “visual” toolsProject management experience is a big plusExtra skills outside the sphere of game development are always welcomeA friendly, transparent and ambitious working environmentDiverse and challenging projects, with a high degree of freedom and responsibilityPersonal and career developmentA lot of VR / AR to play withEmployment type is full-time, on-site in Milan, Italy.Yearly Salary Range: € 35K – 45KCurrently on-site working, with occasional remote work agreed with your manager or lead.Full remote work opportunities are evaluated only for freelancing.Senior Game Designer (Unity, Creative) ApplicationField with a mark * are required.Name *Surname *Email *A very brief letter, where you explain your reasons for applying.You can freely give, deny, or withdraw your consent at any time by accessing the preferences panel.
