Reservoir & Petroleum Engineer

OverviewThe Group's Exploration & Production (E&P) division is involved in the extraction and production of natural gas. In Italy it holds 40 mining concessions, 30 of them are Operated Assets. The Company is also involved in Romania as a partner in a non‑operated concession and is looking for new opportunities. For its headquarters located in Fornovo di Taro (Parma) the Company is looking for a candidate to fill a Senior Reservoir & Petroleum Engineering Position .Role and ResponsibilitiesWithin the E&P Division the technical expertise will have the role of Reservoir & Petroleum Engineer involved in comprehensive activities for both domestic and international assets.Execution of specialized reservoir studies for the evaluation of reservoir characteristics.Analysis, verification and implementation of reservoir simulation models.Planning of production parameter monitoring, technical evaluation of production profiles and actions related to the improvement and/or maintenance of well output performance.Support in the preparation of production reporting and annual production budget.Responsible for well‑testing activities (programming and interpretation).Monitor and predict reservoir performance using advanced modeling techniques.Technical interface relating to the reservoir area in the Technical Committees of the various Joint Ventures Groups.Education and ExperienceBachelor's / Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering (preferably) or in Mining, Environmental, Hydraulic or Mechanical Engineering is required.Work experience in Reservoir Engineering for a minimum of five years.LanguagesItalian and knowledge of English (written and spoken).Main RequirementsExperience in gas field management and production optimization processes.Experience in designing, supervising and interpreting well tests and monitoring well performance.Required technical skills for reservoir numerical modeling (Eclipse), well testing (Saphir) and well performance tools.Experience in Data Management and utilization of Decline Curve Analysis techniques (DCA).Ability to prepare technical reports showing capacity for analysis and interpretation of results.WorkplaceParma district – Fornovo di Taro.Remuneration / BenefitsThey will be evaluated based on the candidate experience.ComplianceRequired data will be managed in compliance with European Regulation No. 679 / 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) and later modifications or integrations.
