Through software development, DevOps practices, and system integration, the Control Software Developer enhances the performance, scalability and reliability of Atlante’s energy infrastructure.Core ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Python-based EMS microservices for cloud and edge environmentsBuild and manage CI/CD pipelines for deployment automationMonitor and troubleshoot distributed systems in productionWork with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes)Manage and process large datasets; integrate with SQL/NoSQL databasesCollaborate with cross-functional and cross-country teams (e.g. engineering, operations, digital)Contribute to system architecture and automation strategiesCreate documentation and technical reportsRequirementsMaster’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Computer SciencePrevious work or internship experience in a technical or software-related roleSoftware development skills (preferably in modern programming languages and frameworks)Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (e.g. CI/CD, Docker, monitoring)Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and architecturesFluent in English and Italian, comfortable working in a multicultural environmentIndependent, proactive, and eager to learn new domains and technologiesNice-to-Have (Learnable on the Job)Experience with PythonExperience with databases and data pipelinesKnowledge of AWS ecosystemSome background or knowledge in one or more of the following areas:Control systemsEnergy or electrical systemsCommunication protocols (e.g. Modbus, MQTT, OPC-UA)What We OfferImpactful Work: Your code will directly contribute to the energy transitionMentorship & Growth: Learn the energy domain and grow into a full-stack EMS expertFlexibility & Autonomy: Hybrid/remote work model and flexible hoursInternational Exposure: Collaborate with colleagues across EuropeThis announcement is addressed to both sexes, in accordance with Law 903/77 and Legislative Decree 198/2006, and to people of all ages and nationalities, in accordance with Legislative Decrees 215/03 and 216/03.Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Atlante by 2x.Milan, Lombardy, Italy €25,000.00-€40,000.00Seniority LevelEntry levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionScience and EngineeringIndustriesFacilities ServicesGet notified about new Software Engineer jobs in Greater Milan Metropolitan Area.#J-18808-Ljbffr
