Join our Industrial & Energy Technology team Baker Hughes Industrial & Energy Technology (IET) operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value‑chain and industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our Instrument Control Engineering team uses cutting‑edge technology to design gas and steam turbines, compressors and expanders.ResponsibilitiesPerform design activities for compressor and turboexpander products.Provide technical guidance and share project‑related status updates.Support internal teams across the full technical project life‑cycle.Own the delivery of technical documentation and drawings, ensuring consistency with engineering policies and contractual specifications.Oversee relationships with global and local vendors, managing time‑zones and ensuring on‑time delivery of required components.QualificationsDegree in Engineering.Knowledge of Mechanical, Thermodynamic or Fluid Dynamics.Previous work experience or knowledge of turbomachinery industry (or equivalent Ph.D.).Experience using CAD software such as Unigraphics or similar.Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).Strong problem‑solving skills with an analytical approach to root‑cause analysis and solution implementation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Fluent in English and able to work in the EU.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and value flexible working patterns.
