We were meant to fly.Job DescriptionThe Manufacturing Engineering will provide technical skills for the Housing business unit, develop/industrialize routing sheets for new products and legacy routing sheets, follow all the activities linked with the P&E, and plan/monitor processes to contribute to the overall business strategy.Essential ResponsibilitiesSupport concurrent engineering activities with the design engineers and/or with the customerDefine tooling/router design effort between external suppliers and Avio Aero Manufacturing EngineeringDrive suppliers of tooling during all steps from the concept to the functional test and related validationManage design and process reviews, to monitor the status of industrialization/ improvement plan for the assigned P/NSupport operating personnel during the production of the first batchManage the technical validation according with internal proceduresIdentify processes optimization to be implementedSupport Customer Quality Engineering for the anomaly report submitted to Customer and sustain Customer review of the proposed improvement planBring new ideas and positive support to the current processDevelop and consolidate best practices and standards for manufacturingQualifications / RequirementsMaster's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college or Bachelor Degree and few years of relevant work experiencePrevious experience in production/manufacturing domainKnowledge of Sulphuric Acid Anodizing TreatmentKnowledge of Chromate Conversion Coating TreatmentKnowledge of Surface Treatment Technology (Equipment, Process Line, etc)Knowledge of REACH regulationKnowledge of Process & Masking FixturesFluent Italian and EnglishWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skills.
