Description
AWS is growing its UK Public Sector Healthcare team and looking for a Solutions Architect who wants to help transform how the NHS delivers care to 67 million citizens. You will be the technical partner for NHS trusts, national health bodies, and Health Technology organisations, designing cloud architectures that address real clinical and operational challenges at national scale. From patient engagement platforms serving millions of patients to clinical AI that returns time to frontline clinicians, the problems you work on will have a direct, measurable impact on patient outcomes and NHS workforce capacity. You will join a collaborative, supportive team that values deep domain knowledge, technical curiosity, and the ability to build trust with senior healthcare stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
Partner with NHS trusts, national health bodies, and Health Technology organisations to design and deliver cloud architectures that address clinical, operational, and data challenges at scale
Lead technical engagements including discovery workshops, architecture reviews, and proof-of-concept builds for healthcare workloads spanning AI/ML, analytics, interoperability, and IoT
Develop and present technical proposals to senior stakeholders including Chief Clinical Information Officers, Chief Technology Officers, and programme directors
Collaborate with AWS service teams to shape healthcare-relevant capabilities and bring customer feedback into the product roadmap
Create and share best practices, technical content, and reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts) and educate about AWS technology through workshops, meetups, public speaking, or conferences
