Position We are looking for a software developer for our Imola site. The selected candidate will join the team responsible for developing the soft-PLC infrastructure on industrial PCs running Linux. The system, used across the entire MG machine fleet, offers top-tier real-time performance and requires the team to engage in a variety of tasks—from software design and analysis to problem-solving and the development of efficient, long-lasting solutions. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Engineering, or solid experience in real-time systems Good knowledge of the Linux operating system Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language Preferably familiar with C and C++ Considered a plus: Experience with the Qt framework Knowledge of Docker Understanding of real-time systems Familiarity with Fieldbus/EtherCAT Experience with Git or other version control tools Other information Dynamic and constantly evolving environment Focus on people and their professional growth No smart working.
